A critical ticket is a support event until it is connected to the customer, renewal, open opportunity, product, ARR, and accountable owner it can affect.

What SixDegree reads from Zendesk

This page is generated from the connector contract in the SixDegree molecule registry. The entities below reflect the integration implementation, not a generic compatibility claim.

SixDegree reads Zendesk tickets, users, organizations, and agent groups. For tickets that includes the subject, status, priority, type, tags, requester, and timestamps; for organizations, the name and domains. Live ticket status can be refreshed on demand.

Zendesk tickets do not carry a direct link to your CRM account, so SixDegree resolves each ticket through its requester and the requester’s organization and domains to the same customer in Salesforce or HubSpot. The match is kept visible. Once connected, a ticket can be read beside the account’s renewal date, contract value, usage trend, and billing state.

Ticket

User

A user in Zendesk, either an end-user (customer) or agent (support staff)

Organization

A customer organization in Zendesk representing a company or group of users

Group

An agent group in Zendesk for organizing support teams

Questions it answers with Zendesk

  • Which renewals in the next 90 days have open urgent or high-priority tickets?
  • Which accounts opened more tickets this month than their usual rate?
  • Which open tickets come from customers with deals in commit this quarter?
  • Do these related tickets from different customers point to the same engineering issue?

Use case: support escalations that threaten a renewal

Three urgent tickets arrive in a week from two users at the same customer, about reports failing to load. Zendesk treats them as separate conversations, and the support team works them in order.

SixDegree resolves both requesters to one customer whose $150,000 renewal is 60 days out and whose usage has fallen since the issue started. The renewal is flagged with the tickets, the usage trend, and the renewal date, so the CSM and the engineering owner see the same picture at the same time.

Support keeps working the tickets in Zendesk as usual. The difference is that the account owner hears about them before the renewal call, with the revenue at stake attached, rather than after the customer raises them in a negotiation.

Zendesk integration FAQ

Which Zendesk signals matter most for revenue?
Open urgent and high-priority tickets, ticket volume compared with the account’s own baseline, repeat issues on the same problem, and how many users at the customer are affected. Each is more useful next to the renewal date and contract value.
What Zendesk data does SixDegree read?
Tickets, users, organizations, and groups, including ticket status, priority, type, tags, requester, and timestamps, and organization names and domains.
How are Zendesk tickets linked to CRM accounts?
Through the ticket requester and their organization and domains, resolved to the same customer in Salesforce or HubSpot. Each match is visible so it can be reviewed.
Can SixDegree use support data to predict renewal risk?
Yes. Open escalations and changes in ticket volume are early renewal signals. SixDegree combines them with renewal date, contract value, usage, and billing for the same customer.
Does SixDegree change Zendesk tickets?
Connections start read-only. The integration supports actions such as updating a ticket or adding a comment; whether to use any of them is agreed with your team when production is scoped.
